Prof. Nadav Davidovich, the Taub Center’s Principal Researcher and Health Policy Chair, talks about the war in Israel. “Soroka hospital's emergency preparedness involved a scenario involving 100 wounded. On Saturday, October 7th it received over 700, which needed immediate care. That in itself was a logistical operation we could not have imagined".

Covid-19 still affects our day-to-day lives in many ways, and its long-lasting effects are still evolving. In this episode we met with Prof. Claude Fischer, a sociologist from the University of California, Prof. Alex Weinreb, Research Director at the Taub Center, and Danielle Cantor, the co-founder of a mutual aid aiming to help people in need during Covid-19, to discuss the ways Covid-19 is changing and will continue to change our everyday lives.

In this episode, we speak with Tamar Havshush about her experience of being a secular Israeli mother who works in high tech and has five children born over the span of just seven and a half years. By putting Tamar’s personal story in conversation with experts Prof. Alex Weinreb and Prof. Herbert Smith, we take a fascinating dive into Israel’s exceptional fertility trends.
